The interior courtyard, the main space of the small Château located in the Prealps, represents the element of articulation of spatial organization. The replacement of the existing polycarbonate roof by the glass ensures that the courtyard gains the function it occupied since the middle of the XVIII century as a public space. Today it serves the purpose of hosting larger events such as wedding receptions, theatre plays etc. The glass roof floats above the space on the metal structure conceived as fish bones. The view to the Donjon and the sky is always present.
